2.1. Totogi Muamua
Before first use, fully charge your BOOX Tablet Go Color 7 using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the cable to the USB-C port on the device and a compatible power adapter (not included).
2.2. Malosi / Malosi
To power on the device, press and hold the Power Button located on the side until the BOOX logo appears. To power off, press and hold the Power Button, then select 'Power Off' from the on-screen options.
2.3. So'oga Wi-Fi
Upon first startup, follow the on-screen prompts to connect to a Wi-Fi network. This is necessary for downloading apps, syncing content, and accessing online services. The device supports Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz).

To optimize display quality and reduce ghosting, select the appropriate refresh mode:
- HD Mode (System Default): Ideal for reading books and other static content.
- Balanced Mode (Default for third-party apps in color E Ink models): Suitable for turning pages and browsing books and pictures.
- Fast Mode (Default for third-party apps in monochrome E Ink models): Recommended for browsing websites and other content that requires scrolling.
- Ultrafast Mode: Best for video and other dynamic content.
- Regal Mode: A refresh solution optimized for color E Ink models, offering less ghosting and improved display quality.
3.6. Operating System and App Support
The BOOX Tablet Go Color 7 runs on Android 12 and supports the installation of third-party applications, expanding its functionality beyond a dedicated e-reader.

Ghosting (faint remnants of previous images) is a characteristic of E Ink displays. To reduce ghosting, select a refresh mode suitable for your activity (e.g., Balanced Mode for page turns, Fast Mode for scrolling, Regal Mode for optimized color E Ink display).
