Carefully remove the alarm clock radio from its packaging. Ensure all components, including the main unit and power adapter, are present and undamaged.

Connect the power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard AC wall outlet. The unit is designed for corded electric operation.
3. Battery Backup Installation (Optional)
For backup power during outages, install two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. These batteries will maintain time and alarm settings during a power interruption but will not power the display or radio functions.
