This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your VTech VG101-11 Cordless Phone. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and to take full advantage of its features. The VTech VG101-11 is a DECT 6.0 digital cordless telephone equipped with a full-duplex speakerphone and Caller ID/Call Waiting functionality.

- Plug the small end of the AC power adapter into the power jack on the back of the telephone base.
- Plug the large end of the AC power adapter into a standard electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
- Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the TEL LINE jack on the back of the telephone base.

Place the handset on the telephone base. The handset will begin charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 16 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery performance.

The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone, allowing both parties to speak and be heard simultaneously for more natural conversations.
- To Activate Speakerphone: I le taimi o se valaau, fetaomi le Telefoni fa'alogo button (often integrated with the TALK button or a dedicated icon).
- To Deactivate Speakerphone: Oomi le Telefoni fa'alogo button again to return to handset mode.

Adjust the listening volume during a call using the VOL ▼ ma VOL ▲ buttons on the handset.

Caller ID/Valaau Faatalitali
The phone displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. It stores up to 30 Caller ID entries.

The phone stores the last 5 numbers dialed for quick redialing.
- To Redial: Tusitala FAʻAVAE, ona fetaomi lea TALANOAGA to dial the last number. Press FAʻAVAE repeatedly to scroll through the last 5 numbers.

Gūgū
Temporarily silence the microphone during a call.
- E Gūgū: I le taimi o le telefoni, fetaomi FILEMU. The other party will not hear you.
- To Unmute: Tusitala FILEMU toe.

If you misplace your handset, you can page it from the base unit.
- To Page Handset: Oomi le SAILI LELEI button on the telephone base. The handset will ring.
