This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature readings, displays the date and day of the week, and includes a radio-controlled clock with two adjustable alarm times and a frost warning function. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new weather station.

Main Unit (Front View):

  • Fa'aaliga: Shows indoor/outdoor temperature, time, date, day of week, alarm settings.
  • SET button: Enters setting mode for time, date, and alarms.

5. Seti

5.1 Fa'apipi'i ma'a

  1. Vaega Autu: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert the specified alkaline batteries (e.g., 2x AA or AAA, refer to the compartment markings) ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Sensor i fafo: Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor. Insert the specified alkaline batteries (e.g., 2x AA or AAA) ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.

5.2 Fa'amaopoopoina Muamua

After inserting batteries, the main unit will automatically attempt to connect with the outdoor sensor and receive the radio-controlled time signal. This process may take a few minutes.

  • Place the outdoor sensor within range (up to 100m in open field) of the main unit.
  • Ensure there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, large metal objects) between the units that could interfere with the signal.
  • The outdoor temperature should appear on the main unit's display once connected.

5.3 Tulaga

  • Vaega Autu: Can be placed on a flat surface using its integrated stand or wall-mounted using the hanging hole on the back. Place it indoors, away from direct heat sources or air conditioning vents.
  • Sensor i fafo: Can be placed on a flat surface or wall-mounted. For accurate readings, place it in a shaded area, protected from direct rain and sunlight. While splash-proof, excessive exposure to harsh weather conditions should be avoided.

6. Fa'atonuga o Galuega

  1. Oomi ma uu le FA'ATU button until the time display starts flashing.

  5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the TULAGA button while the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear.

  • The main unit displays both indoor ("IN") and outdoor ("OUT") temperatures simultaneously.
  • To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the °C/°F switch on the back of the main unit (if available) or press a specific button (refer to on-screen prompts or detailed manual if not obvious).

6.4 Frost Warning Function

The weather station features a frost warning function. When the outdoor temperature drops to a certain threshold (typically around 0°C / 32°F), a frost warning icon will appear on the display to alert you to potential icy conditions.

6.5 Manual Radio Signal Deactivation

In some environments, radio signal interference might occur. If desired, the radio signal reception can be manually deactivated. Refer to the detailed manual for specific button combinations or settings to perform this action.

  • Fa'amamaina: Wipe the main unit and sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Suiga maa: Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time.
