Follow these steps to set up your AirTies Airi Point 4920:

  1. Malosiaga: Connect the power adapter to the 12V power input on the rear panel and plug it into a power outlet. Turn on the device using the On/Off switch. Wait for the Power LED to become solid.
  2. Tu'uga: Place the Airi Point 4920 in a central location within your home or office, ideally halfway between your main router and the area where you need improved WiFi coverage. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, concrete walls, or other sources of interference.
  3. Connect to Existing Network (WPS Method):
    • Ensure your main router supports WPS.
    • Press the WPS button on your main router.
    • Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the front panel of the Airi Point 4920.
    • The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz LEDs on the Airi Point 4920 will flash during the connection process and become solid when successfully connected.
  4. Connect to Existing Network (Manual Method - if WPS fails or is unavailable):
    • Connect your computer or mobile device to the Airi Point 4920's default WiFi network (SSID and password usually found on a label on the device).
    • Tatala a web browser and navigate to the device's default IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.1 or airties.local - consult the device label or quick start guide for exact address).
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to scan for available WiFi networks and select your main router's network. Enter your main router's WiFi password when prompted.
    • Configure the Airi Point 4920 to extend your existing network.
  5. Wired Connection (Optional): If you wish to use the Airi Point 4920 as a wired access point or connect wired devices, use the provided Ethernet cable to connect one of the Gb Ethernet ports on the rear panel to your main router or a wired device.
  6. Fa'amaonia So'oga: Once connected, the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz LEDs should be solid, indicating a successful connection to your main network. You can now connect your wireless devices to the extended WiFi network.

Note on AT&T Compatibility: While some users have successfully integrated this device with AT&T fiber modems using a wired connection, the manufacturer states it is "Not Compatible with AT&T." Specific AT&T services or configurations may prevent proper operation. Users should verify compatibility with their specific AT&T setup if issues arise.
