- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each cordless handset.

2. Base Unit and Charger Connection

- Plug the small end of the base unit power adapter into the power jack on the back of the base unit.
- For each accessory charger, plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet and the other end into the power jack on the back of the charger.
- Connect the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the back of the base unit.
- Connect the other end of the telephone line cord to a telephone wall jack. If you have two lines, connect the second line cord to the LINE 2 jack.

After the handsets are charged, you will be prompted to set the date and time, and select the display language.
- Follow the on-screen prompts on the handset display to configure these settings.
- The system supports Trilingual Prompts: English, Spanish, and French.

Phonebook Directory
Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing.
- To add an entry: Navigate to the Phonebook menu, select "Add New Entry," and follow the prompts to enter the name and number.
- To dial from phonebook: Tusitala DIR, scroll to the desired entry, and press TALANOA / FLASH.

The integrated digital answering system records up to 22 minutes of messages, announcements, and memos. Each line has a dedicated mailbox.
- Ta'alo Feau: Tusitala TALI/TUMA on the base unit or access the Answering System menu on a handset.
- Avanoa Mamao: You can retrieve messages from an outside line by calling your phone number and entering your remote access code.
- Valaau Su'ega: Listen to incoming messages as they are being recorded.
- Call Intercept: Pick up a call while the answering system is recording a message.
Poloi Call Blocker
The Smart Call Blocker feature helps to filter out unwanted robocalls and telemarketers. Calls from numbers on your block list will not ring through. You can also set it to screen unknown callers.

Intercom and Conference Calls
- Intercom: Initiate an intercom call between two handsets or between a handset and the base unit.
