4.1 Luma Vaega

The front panel features a large LED display, control buttons for navigation and selection (PRESET, INFO/MENU, ENTER/SCAN, SLEEP), tuning buttons (left/right arrows), and a MODE button. A rotary knob for SNOOZE/VOLUME and EQ adjustment is located on the right side.

The rear panel includes the telescopic antenna for radio reception and the DC 5V power input port.
5. Seti
5.1 So'oga Malosi
- Insert the DC plug of the supplied power adapter into the DC 5V port on the rear of the radio.
- Plug the AC power adapter into a wall outlet.
5.2 Fetuunaiga Antenna
For optimal FM and DAB/DAB+ reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.
5.3 Malosiaga Muamua
Upon first power-on, the radio may automatically scan for available DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes. Once complete, the radio will display the time and date, and the first available station will begin playing.

6.2 Selecting Radio Modes

6.3 Station Tuning (DAB/DAB+)

The radio supports up to 60 station presets (30 DAB, 30 FM).
- To Save a Preset: Tune to the desired station. Press and hold the TOTONU button until 'Preset Store' appears. Use the Au Tauagavale/Taumatau faamau e filifili ai se numera ua uma ona setiina, ona oomi lea Ulufale/SAU e fa'amaonia.

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the 3.5mm AUX IN port on the rear of the radio using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied). Switch the radio to AUX mode to play audio from the connected device.
6.8 Alarm Clock Functions
The DR-450 features dual alarms, a sleep timer, and a snooze function.
- Fa'atonu Fa'ailoga: Tusitala INFO / MENU, then navigate to 'Alarm Setup'. Follow the on-screen prompts to set alarm time, source (Buzzer or Radio), and frequency.
- Snoo: A tatagi loa le alaga, oomi le SNOOZE/VOLUME knob to activate snooze for a short period.
- Taimi moe: Oomi le MOE button repeatedly to set a sleep timer (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes) after which the radio will automatically turn off.
6.9 Display Brightness (Dimmer)
Oomi le INFO / MENU button, then navigate to 'Display Settings' or 'Dimmer' to adjust the brightness level of the LED display to your preference.
