  3. Connect the plumbing from the pump to the "PUMP" port on the valve.
  4. Connect the plumbing to the pool return lines to the "RETURN" port on the valve.
  5. Connect a waste line to the "WASTE" port on the valve, directing water to an appropriate drainage area.
  6. Install the pressure gauge into the designated port on the valve.

  • FA'ATA'U: Bypasses the filter, circulating water directly back to the pool. Useful for chemical distribution without filtering.
  • TATAU: Shuts off all flow to the filter. Use for servicing the pump or filter.

5.2. Initial Startup (First Backwash)

  1. Ensure the pool is filled to the proper level and all plumbing connections are secure.
