The ZEISS Aplana Folding Magnifier D36 requires no assembly. It is ready for immediate use upon removal from its packaging.
To prepare for use, gently unfold the desired lens or lenses from the protective housing. The lenses pivot smoothly from the main body.
5. Fa'atonuga o Galuega
The magnifier offers three distinct magnification levels:
5.1. Using 3x Magnification
- Gently unfold only the tetele lens from the housing.
- Hold the magnifier close to your eye.
- Bring the object into focus by slowly moving the magnifier or the object until a clear image is observed.
5.2. Using 6x Magnification
- Gently unfold only the laiti lens from the housing.
- Hold the magnifier close to your eye.
- Bring the object into focus by slowly moving the magnifier or the object until a clear image is observed.
5.3. Using 9x Magnification
- Gently unfold e lua the larger (3x) and smaller (6x) lenses so they are aligned and stacked.
- Hold the magnifier close to your eye.
- Bring the object into focus by slowly moving the magnifier or the object until a clear image is observed. This combined magnification provides the highest level of detail.
5.4. Optimal Viewi Mamao

- Avoid abrasive materials, paper towels, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the lens coatings.

- When not in use, fold both lenses back into the protective housing to prevent dust accumulation and scratches.
- Store the magnifier in a clean, dry place, away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight.

Handle the magnifier with care to avoid dropping it or subjecting it to impact, which could damage the lenses or housing.
