Follow these steps for proper assembly and connection of your filter system:

  1. Tu'uga: Position the filter system on a firm, level surface near your pool. Ensure it is protected from rain and direct sunlight.
  2. Fill Filter Tank: Open the filter tank and fill it with the appropriate filter medium. The Classic 400 system can use either filter sand or Steinbach Filter Balls. Refer to the filter medium manufacturer's instructions for the correct quantity.
  3. Attach 7-Way Valve: Securely attach the 7-way valve to the top of the filter tank. Ensure the O-ring is correctly seated to prevent leaks. Tighten the clamp mausalī.
  4. Fa'afeso'ota'i pamu: Connect the pump to the filter tank using the provided hose. Ensure all connections are tight.
  5. Feso'ota'i ile vaita'ele: Connect the filter system to your pool's inlet and outlet ports using Ø 32/38 mm hoses. The "INLET" port on the pump connects to the pool's skimmer/suction line, and the "RETURN" port on the 7-way valve connects to the pool's return line. Use hose clamps to secure all connections.
  6. Palemia le pamu: Before starting, ensure the pump is filled with water to prevent dry running. This is a self-priming pump, but initial priming helps.
  7. So'oga eletise: Connect the pump to a grounded electrical outlet (220-240V~ / 50Hz). Ensure the power supply is suitable for the pump's maximum power of 450 W.

TapuniShuts off all flow through the valve. Do not operate the pump in this position.

The filter system is designed for continuous operation within specified parameters. It is suitable for saltwater pools with a salt content up to 0.5 g/m³ and can handle water temperatures up to 35°C (95°F).
