2. Seti
- Prepare the Cord: Before winding, ensure your cord is completely untangled and lies flat.
- Position the Reel: Place the cord storage wheel on a flat, stable surface.
- Secure the Cord End: Locate the small hook or notch on the side of the reel's core. Secure one end of your cord (typically the male plug end) under this hook to prevent it from slipping during winding.

3.1 Winding the Cord
- Taofi Tumau: While winding, hold the top handle of the reel firmly to keep it stable and prevent it from tipping over.
- Liliu le Crank: Use the side-mounted handle to rotate the reel, slowly winding the cord onto the spool.
- Guide the Cord: Ensure the cord lays flat and evenly across the reel to maximize storage capacity and prevent tangles. Apply slight tension to the cord as you wind to keep it tight.
3.2 Unwinding the Cord
- Reverse Crank: To unwind, turn the side-mounted handle in the opposite direction.
- Toso Uaea: Alternatively, you can pull the free end of the cord to the desired length. The reel will rotate freely to release the cord.

- Asiasiga: Periodically inspect the reel for any signs of wear or damage. Discontinue use if significant damage is observed.

- Cord Not Winding Smoothly: Ensure the cord is completely untangled and free of kinks before beginning to wind. Guide the cord evenly onto the reel.
- Exceeding Capacity: The reel is designed to hold up to 150 feet of 16/3 gauge cord or 125 feet of 14/3 gauge cord. Attempting to wind longer or thicker cords may result in difficulty winding or damage to the reel.
