This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and proper assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Lemax 24472 Village Yuletide Express Battery Operated Train. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
Fa'amatalaga Saogalemu
- Na'o le fa'aoga i totonu ole fale: This product is designed exclusively for indoor use. Do not expose to water or outdoor elements.
- Saogalemu maa:

- 1 x Locomotive (Engine)
- 1 x Coal Car (Tender)

- 12 x Curved Track Sections
Note: The total set includes 4 cars and 12 pieces of track, making a total of 16 pieces.
Seti Faatonuga
1. Fa'apotopotoga o Ala
- Ensure you have a flat, stable surface for track placement.
- Connect the 12 curved track sections together to form a complete oval. Align the connectors carefully and press firmly until they click into place.
- Verify that all track connections are secure and the track forms a smooth, continuous loop.
2. Fa'apipi'i ma'a
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the locomotive.
- Fa'aaoga se sikulivilivae la'ititi e ta'ua o le Phillips (e le o aofia ai), tatala le ufi o le vaega o le maa.
- Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
- Toe sui le ufiufi o le vaega o le maa ma fa'amau i le sikulima.
3. Placing the Train on Track
- Carefully place the locomotive onto the track, ensuring all wheels are properly seated on the rails.
- Connect the coal car, passenger car, and caboose to the locomotive in sequence using the provided hooks/couplings. Ensure each car is securely linked.
- Double-check that all train cars are correctly aligned on the track.

Fa'atonuga o Galuega
1. Malosi i luga/Pepe
- Locate the ON/OFF switch, typically found on the side or bottom of the locomotive.
- Slide the switch to the "ON" position to start the train. The train will begin to move, and its lights and sounds will activate.
- To stop the train, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.
2. Vaega
- Molī: The locomotive features working lights that illuminate when the train is in operation.
- Leo: The train produces festive sounds during operation, enhancing the experience.
Tausiga
1. Fa'amamaina
- Wipe the train and track components with a soft, dry cloth.
- Aua ne'i fa'aogaina ni mea e fa'amamā ai mea po'o so'o, aua e ono fa'aleagaina ai le fa'auma.
- Ensure no dust or debris accumulates on the wheels or track, as this can affect performance.
2. Teuina
- When not in use, disassemble the track and store all components in their original packaging or a suitable container to prevent damage.
- Teu i se nofoaga malulu, matutu mamao ese mai le susulu o le la ma le vevela tele.
3. Tausiga maa
- Always remove batteries from the locomotive if the train will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- Replace all batteries simultaneously when they are depleted.
