The AOOEPU WD-R1206U WiFi Extender offers a simple setup process. You can configure it using the WPS button or through a web browser on your mobile device or computer.

Metotia 1: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

  1. Malosiaga: Plug the WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router. Wait for the power LED to light up.
  2. Activate WPS on Router: Press the WPS button on your main Wi-Fi router. Refer to your router's manual for the exact location and timing.
  3. Activate WPS on Extender: Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button (usually labeled "WPS" or with a WPS icon) on the AOOEPU WD-R1206U WiFi Extender for 2 seconds.
  4. Faatali mo le Fesootaiga: The Wi-Fi signal LEDs on the extender will blink and then turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
  5. Relocate (Optional): Once connected, you can unplug the extender and move it to a location between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Ensure the signal LEDs remain solid to confirm good signal reception from the main router.

  1. Malosiaga: Plug the WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router. Wait for the power LED to light up.
  2. Feso'ota'i i le Wi-Fi a le Extender: On your computer or mobile device, connect to the extender's default Wi-Fi network (e.g., "WiFi-Repeater" or similar, check the device label). No password is required initially.

The AOOEPU WD-R1206U WiFi Extender supports three primary operating modes:

  • AP Mode (Access Point): Converts a wired network connection into a wireless one. Useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired-only router or network switch.
  • Faiga Router: Functions as a primary router, creating a new private wireless network from a modem connection.

After successful setup, your AOOEPU WD-R1206U WiFi Extender will broadcast an extended Wi-Fi signal.
