1.1 Saogalemu Lautele
- Do not expose the radio to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
- Avoid dropping the radio or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the radio. This will void the warranty and may cause damage or injury.
- Keep the radio away from water and other liquids.

4. Seti
4.1 Fa'apipi'i ma'a

- Remove the protective paper insulator from the included 18650 Lithium Ion battery.
- Insert the battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and - terminals match the markings inside the compartment).

The radio can be charged via its Type-C USB port.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Type-C port on the side of the radio.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a DC 5V power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter, computer USB port, or power bank).

5.1 Malosi / Malosi
Oomi le MANA button (orange button) on the top right of the front panel to turn the radio on or off.

Press the corresponding band buttons (FM, AM BW/FM ST, LW/MW, SW, AIR) to switch between frequency bands.

5.3 Metotia Fa'asa'o
The D808 offers multiple ways to tune into stations:
- Tusi Lesona: Fa'aaoga le FA'ALIGA knob on the right side of the radio to adjust the frequency.
- Laasaga Fa'alogo: Oomi le STEP TUNING button (integrated into the tuning knob) to change the tuning step size.
- Direct Frequency Input: Use the numeric keypad (0-9) to directly enter a frequency, then press FREQ e fa'amaonia.
- Automatic Tuning Storage (ATS): Oomi umi le ATS button to automatically scan and store available stations in the current band.
- Up/Down Arrow Keys: Fa'aaoga le ^ ma v buttons to scan for the next available station.
- Fa'alogo lelei: Fa'aaoga le LELEI LELEI slider on the right side for precise frequency adjustments, especially useful for SSB.
5.4 SSB (Single Side Band) Operation
Oomi le SSB button to activate SSB mode. Use the LELEI LELEI slider to adjust the frequency for clear reception of USB (Upper Side Band) or LSB (Lower Side Band) signals.
5.5 Squelch Function (Air Band)
In Air Band mode, long-press the TAGATA button (integrated into the tuning knob) to adjust the squelch level (OFF, 1-9) to reduce background noise.
5.6 Puleaina o Manatu
The radio can store up to 500 stations across various bands.
- Saving a Station: Tune to the desired station, then long-press the ITULAU button, enter a memory location (0-99), and long-press ITULAU toe faaola.
- Toe Manatuaina o se Nofoaga: Oomi le ITULAU button, then enter the memory location (0-99), and short-press ITULAU to recall.
5.7 Uati Fa'ailo ma Taimi Moe
- Seti le Alaala: Tusitala ALAGALO to enter alarm setting mode. Use the numeric keypad to set the alarm time, then press ALAGALO toe fa'amaonia.
- Seti le Taimi Moe: Tusitala MOE to activate the sleep timer. Repeated presses will cycle through available sleep times (e.g., 0-120 minutes).

7. Tausiga
- Fa'amamaina: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Tausiga Antenna: Handle the telescopic antenna gently to avoid bending or breaking. When not in use, retract it fully.
- Teuina: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for long periods, remove the battery.
