3.1 Gimbal Unfolding and Phone Mounting

1. Gently unfold the gimbal until it locks into its operational position.
2. Mount your smartphone securely into the phone clamp. Ensure the phone is centered and balanced.
3. Adjust the gimbal arm to balance your phone. The phone should remain level when the gimbal is powered off. This prevents motor strain and ensures optimal performance.

3.2 Fa'apipi'i maa ma Totogi

The Smart X Pro features a replaceable battery. To install or replace the battery:

1. Locate the magnetic cover on the gimbal handle.
2. Remove the magnetic cover to access the battery compartment.
3. Insert the 3200mAh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Replace the magnetic cover.

To charge the gimbal:

• Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the gimbal and to a USB power adapter (not included).
• The OLED display will indicate charging status. A full charge provides approximately 12 hours of operation.

3.3 Tripod Setup

4.1 Malosi / Malosi

• Malosiaga: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The gimbal will initialize and the OLED display will light up.

The Smart X Pro offers various stabilization modes, indicated on the OLED display. Refer to the on-screen prompts for specific mode changes.

• Pan Follow Mode: The camera pans left and right following your hand movements, while tilt and roll axes are locked.

To activate and adjust the LED fill light:

• Press the dedicated power button for the LED light to turn it on.
• Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the three adjustable brightness levels (up to 6000lux, 5500K CCT).
• Press and hold the button to turn the LED light off.
