3.1 Connecting the Attenuator

The Bugera PS1 features two primary controls: SOAK and LINE.

4.1 SOAK Control

Turning the knob clockwise reduces the volume, allowing you to push your amplifier's output section harder for desired tonal characteristics at lower listening levels. The scale indicates the percentage of power being attenuated, from 0% (full volume to speaker) to 100% (maximum attenuation).

4.2 LINE Control

O le LINE control knob adjusts the output level of the "EMULATED MIC OUT" (XLR) and "LINE OUT" (1/4" TS) jacks. This allows you to fine-tune the signal level sent to your mixing console, audio interface, or external effects, independent of the SOAK control. Adjust this to achieve an optimal input level for your recording or sound reinforcement equipment.
