For optimal performance and system stability, it is crucial to follow the installation and operating guidelines detailed in this document.

4.3. Thermal Solution (CPU Cooler) Installation

The Intel® Laminar RM1 thermal solution is designed for easy installation.

  1. Prepare the Cooler: The included cooler typically has pre-applied thermal paste on its base. If not, apply a thin, even layer of high-quality thermal paste to the center of the processor's IHS.
  2. Tu'u le mea malulu: Align the four mounting pins on the cooler with the corresponding holes around the CPU socket on the motherboard.
  3. Saogalemu le Cooler: Press down firmly on each corner of the cooler until all four pins click into place. Ensure the cooler is securely attached and does not wobble.
  4. Connect Fan Power: Connect the cooler's 4-pin power cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard.
