Fa'afetai mo le fa'atauasing the RC FanJu FJ3365 Weather Station. This device provides comprehensive weather information including indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, and a color weather forecast. It also features an alarm clock, snooze function, calendar, and moon phase display. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and to fully utilize all features.

Seti

1. Fa'amalosia o le Iunite Autu

The main unit can be powered by either the included DC power adapter or 2 x AA batteries (not included).

  1. Insert 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit, observing polarity (+/-).
  2. Alternatively, connect the DC power adapter to the DC 4.5V port on the back of the main unit and plug it into a power outlet.

2. Powering the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

The wireless outdoor sensor requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).

  1. Tatala le vaega o le maa o loʻo i tua o le sensor i fafo.
  2. Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing polarity (+/-).

3. Fa'afeso'ota'i fa'alogo

After powering both units, the weather station will automatically begin searching for the outdoor sensor signal. This process may take up to 3 minutes. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display once connected.

  • To speed up the connection, press the TX button inside the outdoor sensor's battery compartment.
  • Ensure the outdoor sensor is within the maximum transmission distance of 200 feet (in open areas) from the main unit.

4. Initial Settings (Time, Date, Units)

Refer to the specific buttons on the back of the unit (e.g., MODE, UP, DOWN) to adjust time, date, 12/24-hour format, temperature units (°C/°F), and pressure units (hPa/mb).

  • The DCF radio control clock function (German only) will automatically set the time if available in your region.

1. Faaali Atuview

The large LCD screen is divided into several sections:

  • Vaega i Fafo: Displays outdoor temperature, humidity, and temperature alerts.
  • Vaega i totonu: Displays indoor temperature, humidity, and temperature alerts.
  • Taimi & Aso: Shows current time, day of the week, and alarm time.
  • Va'aiga o le tau: Icons indicating predicted weather.
  • Moon Phase & Pressure: Displays current moon phase and atmospheric pressure.

2. Va'aiga o le Tau

The weather station predicts weather for the next 8 hours based on atmospheric pressure changes. The icons include:

Note: The weather forecast is an estimation for the next 8 hours and may not reflect current conditions.

3. Fa'aaliga o le Vevela ma le Susū

  • The main unit displays both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.
  • Oomi le MAX/MIN faamau i view the maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values. Press again to return to current readings.
  • Temperature trends (rising, falling, stable) are indicated by small arrows next to the temperature readings.

4. Galuega Fa'ailoilo ma le Fa'amoe

  • To set the alarm, press the ALAGALO faamau ma faaaoga + ma - e seti le taimi fa'ailo mana'omia.
  • Mo le fa'agaoioia/tape o le fa'ailo, oomi le ALAGALO oomi soo le faamau seia oo ina aliali mai/mou ese le faailoga o le faailoilo.
  • A tatagi loa le alaga, oomi le SNOOZE / Malamalama button to activate the snooze function (5 minutes). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
  • To stop the alarm, press any other button.

5. Backlight Pulea

When powered by the DC adapter, the backlight is continuously on. Press the SNOOZE / Malamalama button to cycle through 3 brightness levels: High, Low, Off.

When powered by batteries only, the backlight will illuminate for a few seconds after pressing the SNOOZE / Malamalama button and then turn off to conserve power.

  • Suiga maa: Replace batteries in both the main unit and outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity.
  • Tu'uga: For accurate outdoor readings, place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
