This device emits varying light patterns and colours, mimicking the dynamic light output of a real television screen. This can deter potential intruders by suggesting that the premises are occupied, even when you are away.

5.2 So'oga Malosi

Connect the small end of the USB power cable to the USB power input on the back of the TV simulator. Connect the larger USB-A end to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) and plug the adapter into a wall outlet.

The Nedis TV Simulator offers several operating modes:

  1. Malosiaga: Flip the main ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
  2. Filifili Faiga Fa'atino: Use the timer mode selector switch to choose your desired setting:
    • DUSK 4HRS: The device will automatically turn on at dusk (when ambient light falls below a certain level) and operate for approximately 4 hours.
    • DUSK 7HRS: The device will automatically turn on at dusk and operate for approximately 7 hours.
    • IA: The device will remain continuously on, regardless of ambient light. This mode is generally not recommended for security simulation as it does not mimic natural TV usage patterns.
    • ESE: The device will remain off.
  3. Realistic TV Effect: Once activated, the simulator will emit random sequences of multicolour light, varying in intensity and hue, to create a convincing impression of a television being watched.

7. Tausiga

  • Fa'amamaina: To clean the device, gently wipe its surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the unit.
  • Teuina: If the device is not in use for an extended period, disconnect it from the power source and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
