- Oomi ma uu le AL SET button until the alarm hour display starts flashing.

- Oomi le AL SET button again, and the alarm minute display will flash.
- Oomi le MIN faamau e fetuutuunai ai le minute faailo.
- Tusitala AL SET once more to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- Mo le fa'agaoioia pe tapeina o le fa'ailo, oomi le AL ON/OFF button. An alarm icon will typically appear on the display when the alarm is active.
6.5 DX.LOCAL Switch
O le DX.LOCAL switch helps optimize reception:
- Seti i NU'U for strong, nearby radio stations. This setting helps reduce interference from distant signals.
- Seti i DX (Distant) for weaker, far-away radio stations. This setting increases sensitivity to pick up fainter signals.
