5.1 Wiring Considerations

  • Use high-quality speaker wire for optimal audio performance.
  • Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for all speaker connections. Incorrect polarity can lead to poor sound quality.
  • The JSS6-VC2 is designed to protect your amplifier by maintaining a minimum 4 Ohm load. Do not bypass this protection.

5.2 Connecting to Your Ampola

  1. Locate the speaker output terminals on your amplifier. These are typically labeled "Speaker Out" or "Main Speakers".
  2. Connect the speaker output terminals of your amplifier to the "Amplifier Input" terminals on the JSS6-VC2. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. ExampLe: Fa'afeso'ota'i le amplifier's left positive (+) terminal to the JSS6-VC2's "Amplifier Input L+" terminal. Connect the amplifier's left negative (-) terminal to the JSS6-VC2's "Amplifier Input L-" terminal. Repeat for the right channel.

  1. Identify the speaker terminals on the JSS6-VC2 labeled "Speaker 1", "Speaker 2", up to "Speaker 6".
  2. Connect each pair of speakers to the corresponding terminals on the JSS6-VC2. For example, connect your first pair of speakers to the "Speaker 1" terminals.
  3. Ensure correct polarity for each speaker pair.
  4. Repeat this process for all speaker pairs you wish to connect, up to a maximum of six pairs.

6.1 Selecting Speaker Pairs

  • Each speaker pair connected to the JSS6-VC2 has a corresponding selection button on the front panel.
  • Press the button corresponding to the speaker pair you wish to activate. The button will typically illuminate or click into place to indicate selection.
  • You can select one or multiple speaker pairs simultaneously.
  • To deselect a speaker pair, press its button again.

  • Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the volume for that specific speaker pair.
